Car use implicated in the increase in obesity and CO2 emissions.


A new report by the Institute for European Environmental Policy implicates car use in the increase in obesity as well as rising carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

The report calls for renewed efforts to promote walking as an alternative to car transport. It argues that this would be vastly cheaper than dealing with the consequences of the obesity epidemic and climate change.
